ChristMaS Cookies

These cookies have always been a big hit in my family. I had lost the recipe, but thankfully my sister Terri ,had one I had written to her..so I will post it as a pic, and hope ya'll can read it!  I've used raspberry and blackberry jam  in them, which is what my lil darlings like..lol..so you use what you need to ..to get that smile. ;)

Sure I have a pile of dishes in the sink, and I have tried so hard today not to waste anytime, about cleaning this house up..ahh but it can wait ..
I met a lady, today, She was auctioning off her ebay templates, and her work is totally awesome, so I wrote her about some new buttons for my website..usually when I ask for any kind of graphics or graphic advice, I wait hours to hear back, and then usually have to wait  hours again to get them..that was not the case today! Within an hour I had my buttons! I love them!  I had questions, she answered so freely,she even extended a helping hand in sorting out a button I couldn't get in. I begged her to charge me something for her time,but she graciously ignored every request..what she said was essencinally (sp) we should all be willing to lend a helping hand,without asking for money for it..she is so right! I would like to give her a plug tho..for her great work, her service to me, and for reminding me..there is never ever anything wrong with doing a stranger a favor..makes for great neighbors, and its only good business! whew, there just isn't enough time in a day, but actually its too long anyways! lol I think I need 2 of me,I'm sure I'm not alone! Been working on my etsy shop,its nice to be able to take orders for dolls, than try and guess what to do. Plus, you get that customer interaction, which is always a positive. Love that. I've also joined a couple of etsy teams pafa and ofg..the ladies have been very welcoming in both groups.
Well this week I did take a lil time to myself, to do abit of fall decorating around here..I've missed  doing  that (decorating) since I have moved here. Been here for just about a year now, and I  still have boxes to unpack. This place is so small tho..I really need to let go of a few things..but geez there's memories tied up in so many..whats a person to do!? lol
Have had request for patterns of  the Man in the MooN , and also the  Woodsy Owl Make-do..so I am gonna try and get those done this week. I still have hopes for thanksgiving patterns..I haven't given up on those! ..oh and Christmas too! lol..I think my plate is more than full!
By the by..I am working on a website..where I can load all my patterns..sell my dolls, and take orders for dolls..really excited about this! I'll be advertising in hopes I get a few visits!
Alrighty I know I should probaly get some pictures up of the new things, but I need to get those old shutters spruced up and back to use in my photos..I need the contrast! I am such a procrastinator!

Thought I better check in..before I forgot my password again! Its the little things that confuse me! lol..Gosh the weeks are flying by! In a couple of hours, Fall will have officially arrived! Then we all know whats coming next..Christmas! So I've semi started thinking about  Christmas and Winter patterns..tho I still have ideas for Thanksgiving..which  I really want to do..seems to be a lack of thanksgiving patterns, I'd like to fill that void if I could..so praying I'll solidify the ideas I have and hoping to find the time to do them. Meanwhile I have completed a few more patterns,since I was last here..so here's a few pics..

Well Good Morning and Good Night! Got more done today than I expected, but less than I wanted..all in all..a good day..A special thanks to Denise for urging me to get Hannah's pattern done..Thank you Denise!!

Love it!! Fall is in the air!! I wish this season would last longer than any other! lol..Every year I wait for the morning glories to appear and then I know ..its coming!  There are so many patches of them down this dirt path..I walk EverReady down that path at least 5 times a day,and I always reminded,how great God is.
Well I did get a pattern made from the idea , I had swimming around the other day..I just wish to heck I could get better pictures!  My daughter loves it..that always thrills me!
So the pattern is listed at pattern mart  (well will be on Sunday..or after midnight tonight!) the pattern cupboard, the prim pattern, and on etsy.
Got errands again this morning..so hopefully I'll get em done quickly and get back to do a couple of patterns I downloaded..from chesnut junction, and the crows roost..I love the simple patterns..(I love these gals..only hope to aspire to have as much talent as they have)they are just chock full of potential! More bang for the buck! Right? lol..well here's a pic of the new pattern.  Gonna let you have a peek at EverReady too..he's such a ham! LOL

New ideas just a swimming in my head this morning! Its good to know there's still some sap left in this old girl! lol  Errands to run this morning..so goodie making will have to wait til later on today..blah! Hopefully I will get some new patterns outta these ideas..from my heart to the Lord above,to Whom I am always grateful! <3

Two other patterns I am not sure about publishing..one is for Hannah and the other is for Cats N Jacks..we'll see what comes up this week.

Well we pulled through Irene, my heart and prayers go out to those who are still suffering with the devastation left behind.
I realized alot about my life in those 14 hours she hung around..I waste alotta my time on nonsense..so I am aiming at spending my time a little bit more wisely! More time with the kids..even if they wanna play yahzee marathons..and listen to the music so loud that the walls sway! Less time playing on the computer..sorry FrontierVille..I gotta get busy! I love what I do..even tho I do let myself get a lil nutty thinking about whats next..
We did manage to get a few new pieces done this week..even got a pattern done, and downloaded at pattern mart,the prim pattern, and the pattern cupboard.

Couldn't sleep, well I did fall off for abit had a dream about Simba ,eating all my food, LOL
We lost him a year ago, I guess maybe he was telling me he missed me too, and wanted to let me know he missed all those forbidden foods, I used to give him, saying..;last one now..last one now.;.you hear me? lol

He was as big as a lion and lion-hearted to boot! If one of my kids or my husband dared to raise their voice, he would remind them I was the Queen! lol God loVe him! Here's a pic of him.;.beautiful,gentle faithful to a fault,a truer friend I never had. I miss you buddy! xx

At last I have found something to work on when sleep won't come! lol..I've been slacking on using my creative abilities..I have taken a whole year off! oh my goodness! Well I am done with the slacking! :D I have some new ideas.;.finished 1 today! The smell of the dolls baking thrilled my nose??!!!! lol.. I loved it!! Gonna try to insert a photo of the finished idea. Will have it listed at patternmart on Sunday as a pattern. Am gonna list the item at http://www.primnest.com/ so I hope you'll stop by..I am excited about it..and its high time I got excited about something!
